Admin/Idiot Female: Sorry for the hiatus being way longer than planned. But some good news! Next week I will be completely done with school for the semester and Korbo should be back to answering questions.
Today there’s apparently something of a half-hearted internet blackout to oppose CISPA — and don’t get me wrong: I love the idea, but this particular blackout seems to be woefully misinformed. One of the main images people are using totally confuses what CISPA does (information sharing without warrant, permission, any regard for liberty and privacy, etc.) with what SOPA would have done (shutting down websites because of alleged copyright infringements). So, if you’re participating in today’s blackout, a few things:
- Don’t use this inaccurate image. We’re not going to stop CISPA by confusing people about what it does.
- Use one of the images above, which are chopped from this great infographic (or, if you’re handy with Photoshop, make your own).
- Don’t expect a lot of corporate support this time. Unlike SOPA, CISPA has comparatively few big-name opponents.
- We’ll soon be taking this fight to the Senate. Click here for links to contact your Senators via multiple avenues.
Seriously guys, Click on the 4th link, we need to pester our representatives until they stop performing oral sex on lobbyists for a few minutes to overturn this damn thing.
Sorry this is my last non Spice and Wolf related post until the black out is over.

The folllowing was copied from Get involved! You live here!
“Greetings United States gov,
We are the Internet. Again, you are trying to pass this ridiculous CISPA law in order to control and censor the people. This will not stand. You already control the media, the economy, the criminal underworld, your national plots and our energy. YOU WILL NOT GET OUR INTERNET!
The U.S. law that would turn Google, Facebook, and Twitter into legally untouchable government spies just passed the House.
This bill affects everyone — not just U.S. citizens. Anyone with a Facebook account could now have their data shipped directly to the U.S. government. That’s why Internet users overwhelmingly oppose this bill. Over 1.5 million people signed petitions against it. But Congress didn’t listen. This law broadened the state terror and repression of the people. By allowing corporations to track our every action on the internet the state and corporations will be merged and that we have seen before: it is called fascism.
We are going dark on MONDAY April 22nd at 6 AM GMT for 24 hours to protest your illogical and terrorizing bill against the Internet itself. Even with the whole Internet crying out to stop this BILL, the US House of Representatives failed to do so blinded by lobbyist’s money and cum in your eyes. So we will take action ourselves and open your eyes. Every popular/mainstream websites will be black until you, Mr. DronObama promise us to use your VETO power to stop this bill at Senate. Take this as a protest or a warning, as you wish. One thing is for certain, neither you or anyone else in this world can control the Internet, so don’t even try. Stop wasting taxpayers’ money into doing these kind of shenanigans.
http://anoninsiders.net/cipsa-1702/Sorry for this not being Spice and Wolf related, but I am so fed up with my government pushing all of this bullshit that infringes on our individual liberties.
Please educate yourself on this and other ways our elected officials abuse their fucking power. Don’t watch TV, the media is biased and full of shit. Use the internet and your judgement.
Don’t be a sheep.
Admin: Also, I’m closing the askbox again. Korbo will get back to answering questions in a week or so. I’ve got pretty big project due in a week and really need to get on it >.>
Spice and Wolf volume 8 is out this month, and as usual Yen Press has included a picture of the cover in their facebook album for monthly releases.
Like it, comment on it, share it, let them know you love Spice and Wolf and want faster releases of the novels. They’ve only licensed up to volume 9, I would hope they have plans to license novels past 9, but currently no one knows.
Also you better buy the damn novels if you want us to ever have any hope of getting season 3!

My beauty is far too great for any artist to completely capture, both are different attempts at doing so. What I find far more interesting is that the color of my companion’s hair was not even mentioned in the novels, yet they decided on silver despite his young age.

I suppose that is the best your kind can do without me actually being there.
But you still did not offer me any. Should I pass through your village, I shall not grant you a bountiful harvest, but I shall not punish you with a weak harvest either.

My tail is *not* a pillow!
But it is only obvious that my tail’s warmth and softness surpass even the most expensive of pillows.

I have not traveled there, but I have found that land’s people to be most hospitable! They always see to it that not a square inch of your plate is left empty and they are unmatched in their skill of roasting pigs.
